This post was supposed to be made two days ago… but it’s here now so that’s all that matters 🙂 My garden has grown a lot since my last garden update so I would recommend you go check out that post once you’re done here so that you can be just as surprised as I am!
First, I no longer have any indoor plants. The oregano wasn’t doing all that well, and then it died. So, we can go right into our outdoor plants today!

I told ya’ll last time that I was going to officially harvest some stevia and dry it, so I could finally taste it! Well, I did and it’s all dried… but I haven’t tasted it yet😂. Don’t worry I’ll get there, and when I do I’ll let you guys know how it went.

Screams of joy LOOK AT MY CAULIFLOWER!!! It’s so pretty! I’m excited for it to finish up growing😁.

My ground cherry plant still has a few ground cherries left, but for the most part I think it’s done. My brother’s ground cherry plant (the one my cat ate) had a small handful of them that needed to be collected. Some of them had already started decomposing! My beetles didn’t care, and they are happily munching them right now(see picture below).

My parsnips are getting huge! I’m going to wait until after the first frost to harvest them, so they still have a couple more weeks yet. But, I need to get some gloves on and start weeding in there! I haven’t yet because I don’t usually wear gloves when I’m gardening, but I’m afraid I’m going to get parsnip burn if I don’t.

I have several radish pods that are all dried and ready for me to save their seeds! I also still have some that aren’t quite ready yet. I’m super excited to get started on this since this is something completely new for me!

This is something that’s very interesting. You know how in my last garden update I said I was just going to throw my celery plant into the compost pile because it was a lost cause. Well someone must have told it that I said that because it all of a sudden made a really good root system and killed all the stalks that weren’t doing so well and created some more! It probably won’t reach maturity before the first frost so even though celery is a cold hardy plant I’m not sure how big it’ll get before It gets too cold. ,

Here is another unexpected surprise. I noticed that my green squash didn’t really look like a spaghetti squash so I asked someone who worked with me at the greenhouse. She said that they accidentally planted some acorn squash with the spaghetti squash. So now I get to try a new squash! I’m really excited for that, I love my spaghetti squash, but I also love the idea of trying something new!

My lemon balm is doing good. I haven’t been harvesting it for awhile because a dog decided that it was a good place to go to the bathroom at… one of these days though I’m going to have to get brave enough to harvest a bunch of it and give it a REALLY good washing!

It wouldn’t be a garden update if I left out my raspberry bush! It’s all done producing, so I’m going to have to wait a whole year before I can get fresh raspberries again😔.
Before I say farewell I wanted to show you some other pictures I took today, while in the garden:

That’s it for this post! Thanks for reading… and farewell!
