Some people think that their yard is too small to do any gardening. Or maybe you don’t even have a yard, so you say things like “I’ll start gardening someday”. I’m not sure if you noticed but, someday isn’t a day of the week. It’s a fantasy land that is just out of reach. We all have great things planned for someday land, but since it’ll never come, why not figure out a way to start today.
So if space is what you are struggling with when it comes to throwing gardening into someday land, than today’s post is for you. There are dozens of varieties of things that can be grown in small pots and containers in your window sill, your balcony, and your yard. Even if you think you have zero space that could be used for a garden, think again. Herb gardens can be very small, yet they are easy to tend to and give good harvests. Not to mention several herbs are perennials(which means they come back each year). So even if all you have time and space for is a small herb garden I encourage you to go for it! Start small and work your way up. Maybe a year after doing just herbs, you’ll start a small container of lettuce, than later add some peas, and eventually tomatoes…
