Goat milk vs cow milk. Which is healthier? Which tastes better? I guess we are about to find out!
Similarities
Both milks contain all 9 of the essential amino acids(proteins), 1/3 of our daily calcium, vitamins A, D, and minerals like magnesium, phosphorus, and potassium.

Differences
The tastes of both milks are distinctly different. Goat milk is known for it’s “goaty” taste and can take some getting used to. While cow milk has more of a neutral taste.
Goat milk is easier to digest then cow’s milk. They both have about the same amount of fat, but the fat globules in the goat milk are smaller and, are thus easier to digest. Goat milk also has slightly less lactose than cow’s milk. So for people who are lactose intolerant, goat milk could be an option.
Which is healthier?
Goat milk has more vitamin A, riboflavin, calcium, potassium, and niacin. It is also easier to digest. Making goat milk the healthier option.
I hope you enjoyed this blog post! What type of milk do you drink?
I never really looked into the difference between goat and cow milk. I definitely like cow milk better.

Ooh! How exciting! You should write a blog post all about your experience trying it! I’ve tried it before, and it was for sure something anyone would have to get used to.

I drink my cow’s raw milk- I definitely like it the best! But the. I’ve never tried goat milk…;) do you know if the stats I this post are for pasteurized milk or not?

I’m gonna guess that the stats are for pasteurized. I wish I could buy raw milk where we live but it’s illegal🙄. I’m sure it’s healthier than the cow milk stats on this post😉
