Chia Seed Pudding

Chia seeds are a super food. They are so healthy for you and they have so many health benefits, but I’m not going to get into that today. Today I’m going to focus on my favorite chia seed pudding. I did not create this recipe but, I thought I’d share it with you guys!

This recipe makes enough for 1 serving.


  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tbsp. chia seeds
  • 1 tsp honey
  • A few drops of vanilla extract
  • Fresh fruit (Optional)
  • Granola (Optional)


  1. Pour milk and seeds into a small bowl with a lid
  2. Add honey and vanilla
  3. Stir and close the lid
  4. Refrigerate for an hour than stir and refrigerate for another hour
  5. Top with fruit and granola

Once you take the chia seeds out of the fridge for the second time you should have something that looks similar to this:

You see, chia seeds form a gel-like substance when they get wet. Which is what thickens the pudding, and gives it that pudding texture.
